A Quality Inspector role is open with our client in Alpharetta, GA. In this role you are responsible for conducting inspections, tests, and audits throughout various stages of the production or manufacturing process. To be considered for this role you will have proven experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong knowledge of quality control techniques, inspection methods, and tools. Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and relevant regulatory requirements.

Quality Inspector Job Duties
*Quality Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring that products or services meet established quality standards and customer requirements.
*Responsible for conducting inspections, tests, and audits throughout various stages of the production or manufacturing process.
* Identifies defects, deviations from specifications, and non-compliance issues, and collaborates with the quality team to implement corrective and preventive actions.
*Contribute to maintaining quality control procedures and documentation, striving for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
*Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on raw materials, components, assemblies, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
*Utilize measuring tools, equipment, and testing devices to verify dimensions, tolerances, functionality, and performance.
*Perform visual inspections to identify defects, cosmetic flaws, or deviations from product requirements.
*Document inspection results, test data, and any non-conformities discovered during inspections.
*Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and recommend appropriate actions for resolution.
*Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and audits in compliance with regulatory and company guidelines
*. Identify and communicate non-conforming products, processes, or materials to the appropriate departments or stakeholders.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate root causes of non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
*Track and monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and verify their implementation.
*Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate quality control procedures, processes, and documentation to identify opportunities for improvement.
*Propose and implement enhancements to streamline operations, enhance quality, and reduce waste.
*Participate in quality-related meetings, discussions, and initiatives to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality management system requirements.
*Stay up to date with relevant quality control methods, technologies, and industry best practices.
*Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
Knowledge/Skills/Education/Experience
*High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in quality inspection or related field is a plus.
* Computer savvy ability and willingness to learn some quality experience- will be inspecting, metal, glass drawings etc, need to be able to use and understand multimeters.
*Understanding of electronics and Inspection( heavy on the electronics side).
*Understand how to inspect product and how to move the product Candidates should be able to discuss inspection process and the tools used during inspecting - multimeters, calipers etc.
*Need to know and understand how to handle and measure product Must have a sense of urgency and enthusiasm
*Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
*Strong knowledge of quality control techniques, inspection methods, and tools.
*Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and relevant regulatory requirements.
*Proficient in reading technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
*Attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
*Excellent communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with team members.
*Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
*Proficiency in using computer software and applications for documentation and reporting.
