Description and Requirements
***This role will be Hybrid in Morrisville, NC. This candidate will work three days onsite and two days remotely.***

Job Summary:

Lenovo's CTO (Chief Technology Office) Org is seeking a Senior Engineer, AI Infra to support the delivery of cutting edge and energy efficient product offerings. This role will lead innovative projects to address the environmental impact of computing technologies, from hardware manufacturing to data center operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cutting-edge research on energy-efficient management of heterogeneous computing clusters.
  • Build power monitoring, predictive analytics and energy-efficient software solutions for AI Infra.
  • Work closely with cross-functional World-Wide teams, transfer R&D outcomes into commercial products and solutions.

Required Qualifications:

Working experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Data center operation or AI infra monitoring
  • High Performance Computing (HPC
  • GPU/CPU energy efficiency optimization
  • AI tasks energy efficiency and optimization
  • AI Workload characterization and performance analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience with Sustainable Computing.
  • Direct experience with NVIDIA GPU software stacks.
  • Fluent in both spoken English and Mandarin
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex, open-ended challenges.
