Job Description

Position Title: Project Manager - Strategic Initiatives
Reports to: Trulaske College of Business, Sr. Dean

The Project Manager for Strategic Initiatives serves as a central connector across internal and external stakeholders to support the execution of the Trulaske College of Business's strategic plan. Reporting directly to the Dean and working closely with his Executive Assistant and the college's Business and Finance Officer, this role ensures initiatives are aligned, communicated, and advanced through effective collaboration and engagement.

This position will coordinate efforts across departments, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners, ensuring strategic projects stay on track, outcomes are measured, and momentum is sustained. The role also includes supporting donor and partner stewardship by fostering relationships that contribute to long-term engagement with the college.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate strategic initiatives by aligning stakeholders and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
  • Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure alignment with college priorities.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between faculty, staff, leadership, and external partners.
  • Prepare progress updates, maintain dashboards, and track key metrics tied to the strategic plan.
  • Support donor and partner stewardship by cultivating meaningful, mission-driven engagement.
  • Assist in identifying and coordinating opportunities for grants and external partnerships.
  • Organize and lead regular project meetings to maintain transparency and accountability.

Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn and use digital tools and platforms to manage workflows, track progress, and present data.
  • Preference for candidates with interest in leveraging AI tools for project planning, reporting, or task automation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and foster collaboration across diverse groups.
  • Familiarity with business, institutional advancement, or donor engagement is a plus.
Shift

M-F 8am-5pm

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with stewardship, strong organization skills, and ability to work autonomously.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $60,000-$78,000

Grade: GGS 10
