THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Your clerical work with us will help protect and support children and families in our county! This is a great role for someone who can work well with others, pay careful attention to details, and use a computer and office equipment. With our team, you will:

  • Greet visitors, take information, and screen/route telephone calls
  • Copy, file, fax, shred, and laminate documents
  • Type information into form letters, envelopes, labels, fax transmittals, and charts.
  • Open and sort mail, disperse incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Prepare letterhead, envelopes, and business cards.
  • Perform related work as required.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Possession of the required knowledges, skills, and abilities.

Other Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

  • This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
    • Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
