What You Will Do to Change Lives

Are you looking to earn your SUD hours but want to do it in a professional, high-impact environment? At Telecare, we don't require a RADT, SUDRC, or RAC for this role-instead, we provide the platform for you to get your foot in the door. As our Substance Use Specialist, you'll work with individuals navigating the intersection of mental health and addiction, helping them reclaim their independence.

  The Community Advocate: You won't be stuck in a clinic. You'll meet members where they are-in their homes, in hospitals, and throughout the community-providing the "on-the-ground" support they need.

  Dual Diagnosis Support: Under direct supervision, you'll serve as the primary case manager for members with co-occurring disorders, helping them bridge the gap between treatment and independent living.

  Skill Builder: You'll help members navigate the daily challenges of recovery, ensuring they have the tools to live successfully in the community of their choice.

  
  

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am to 4:30pm | Full-Time

Expected starting wage range is $21.50 - $26.25. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

• High School Graduation or G.E.D. equivalent and three (3) years of direct services in mental health or community services; OR Associate's degree and two (2) years of experience; OR Bachelor's degree in Social Services
• Must possess at least 1 year of experience providing services as a Substance Use Specialist
• Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
• Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
• Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
• Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc.
