Senior Delivery Manager - Value Based Care

The Value-Based Care Delivery Manager, Senior leads the execution of agile product and solution delivery. This role is instrumental in aligning cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital health and analytics products and solutions that improve clinical workflows, patient experiences, and health outcomes, support care teams and care transformation, improve operational efficiency, and enable the shift to value-based care. The role demands the ability to skillfully enable disruptive innovation, while effectively collaborating with internal and external teams including clinical, operational, and technical partners agile delivery, product lifecycle management, stakeholder coordination, and navigating the complexities of healthcare technology environments. This role will also manage and oversee our OKR (objectives and key results) management. This role supports other team members in their learning and development, works closely across the enterprise with key stakeholders and will support the VBCI and organization in maturing its use of agile approaches and an OKR framework. This role is part of our Value-Based Care Institute (VBCI) products and analytics team and works with limited supervision.


Key Responsibilities
Delivery Management
oLead Agile delivery teams (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) in the execution of digital health and analytics product and solution development across multiple service areas with a focus on value-based care and population health solutions.
oPartner with clinical and operational subject matter experts, product managers and product owners, technical teams, clinical informaticists, and other stakeholders ensure successful and timely delivery of initiatives including management of product backlogs and roadmaps
oSupport the management of team capacity, dependencies, and prioritization across multiple squads to ensure effective resource utilization and goal alignment.
oDrive cross-functional coordination between technical teams, compliance, security, clinical operations, and external partners to ensure regulatory readiness
oIdentify and mitigate delivery risks, blockers, and scope creep through proactive communication and decision-making.
oFacilitate transparent reporting of delivery status, timelines, and KPIs to leadership and stakeholders.
oFoster a culture of continuous improvement, customer-centricity, and accountability
Best Practice Development and Stakeholder Engagement
oDefine, manage, and continuously improve delivery frameworks, rituals (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives), and performance metrics (e.g., velocity, lead time).
oAct as a delivery coach and mentor for scrum masters and team leads, helping mature agile practices and scaling approaches.
oAct as a coach and mentor for VBCI in developing and maturing an OKR management approach.
oBuild a culture of strong, trusting relationships to ensure effective product and solution development and delivery across the breadth of stakeholders.
oPromote a shared vision and roadmaps that aligns with the enterprise transformation to value-based care.
oSupport the framework and work to design, develop and maintain value-based care playbooks in collaboration with product managers and product owners.

EDUCATION:
Minimum of 7 years of experience. A bachelor?s degree is considered to meet 3 years of experience; a master?s degree is considered to meet an additional 1 year of experience, and a doctorate degree is considered to meet an additional 2 years of experience. Other relevant formal training in product development and healthcare operations may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

EXPERIENCE:
Qualifications
?Proven experience leading agile methodologies in support of a product and solutions focused organization and strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and tools (DevOps, Jira, Confluence, etc.).
?Experience working with an OKR (objectives and key results) management framework.
?Ability to be equally comfortable engaging with diverse teams including subject matter experts, technical teams, product managers and product owners, and leaders and the ability to facilitate their ability to communicate effectively with each other.
?Ability to communicate complex analysis to non-technical leaders and decision-makers including verbally, in writing, and through effective visualizations.
?Genuine curiosity to dive deep into operational workflows and engage with stakeholders to design better solutions. Proven ability to drive innovation through a product mindset, culture, and matrix-organizational structure.
?Deep commitment to continuous learning as part of a cross-functional team and matrixed organization
?Knowledge of healthcare systems, value-based care, population health, and applicable regulatory frameworks including knowledge of value-based enterprise agreements
?Familiarity with digital health products, EHR integrations, FHIR standards, or payer-provider technology ecosystems
?Knowledge and understanding of applicable healthcare regulations including patient privacy, data management, and contractual agreements
Preferred Experience
?Understanding of clinical workflows and clinical operations as they relate to value-based care and population health
?Working in a B2B2C environments, particularly in healthcare regarding integrated health systems (including ACOs, CINs), payers, and patients
?Exposure to data-intensive products and solutions that involved clinical workflows, healthcare analytics, value-based care, and population health.
?Experience developing, maturing, and educating others about agile methodologies and OKRs
