Summary: The Senior Systems Analyst - Supply Chain primarily serves as a Workday subject matter expert (SME) on ERP system capability, leads and facilitates cross-functional optimization projects and drives business-as-usual (BAU) process improvement initiatives. This role will be a key contributor in the development of new system strategies across multiple systems, business lines and entities that align to organizational goals. As an operational expert for Supply Chain information systems, the Senior Workday Functional Analyst provides advanced consultative and analytical services to optimize utilization, improve data integrity and streamline the system Supply Chain landscape. Partners with internal and external stakeholders across the system to develop and support comprehensive Supply Chain solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives that drive the Workday ERP roadmap; regularly present actionable recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders to guide informed decision-making. Serves as an expert on Supply Chain system capability, typically an advanced module within Workday; stays informed about Workday's latest features by attending hosted webinars and leveraging Workday Community to utilize learnings to adequately consult business stakeholders on solutions that aim to optimize operations and educate stakeholders on best practices and advanced functional-technical solutions. Lead or support complex, cross-functional initiatives, migrations and upgrades specific to Supply Chain processes and technologies; works closely with SMEs, team members and stakeholders across the organization to develop proposals and project plans for Workday and related Supply Chain applications. Translate Supply Chain functional and technical requirements into effective system designs and configurations; configure and test complex Supply Chain business processes (e.g., recruiting, hiring, job changes, etc.), condition and/or eligibility rules. Service as a key member of cross-functional workgroups (e.g., integrations, reporting, security) across all Workday domains/functional areas (i.e., SCM, HR, Finance, and Technology); is comfortable with complex integrations and offers input on the design and modifications of integrations related to Supply Chain, including data exchange with Workday and other platforms. Provide Tier 2 support, troubleshooting complex system issues and identifying and implementing resolutions; communicates systems issues to Supply Chain management, proposing alternate solutions; apply advanced problem-solving skills to address system issues promptly and effectively mentor junior team members to support their growth and development. Create and maintain detailed system documentation for Supply Chain processes. At the direction of the 'Workday Release Manager,' leads bi-annual release for specific functional area(s) in accordance with the overarching testing plan and timeline; reviews release notes for specific areas and makes recommendations for adopting new features; partners with Supply Chain SMEs to develop test scripts, provides testing guidance, researches and resolves issues. Gathers reporting requirements from non-technical users; advises customers in reporting best practices as well as technical opportunities and challenges; may develop new, complex reports or enhance existing reports; develop or support Supply Chain reporting and analytics strategy that leads to informed decision-making, continuous improvement and user adoption. Create Enterprise Builder Integrations (EIBs) to support complex mass data uploads; validates correct format, data integrity and successful upload. Leads teams of stakeholders; mentor/guide junior analysts. May support other systems and perform other duties as needed. Other information: EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience EXPERIENCE: 3 years of related experience required Proficiency in Workday required. Workday Certification is a plus. Experience with reporting tools and advanced skills using Excel, SharePoint, MS Teams; proficiency in additional Microsoft 365 applications Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes including required Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in Supply Chain is beneficial Experience with root cause analysis and process improvement methodologies, preferred Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills Applied attention to detail and experience translating business needs into technical solutions and troubleshooting issues SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None Brown University Health is an Equal Opportunity employer.
