The Minecraft Online team is looking for a Software Engineer II to help build the engine and systems that power a diverse set of Minecraft Online Experiences over a dozen platforms. As a Software Engineer in this area, you will define architecture, evaluate requirements, estimate development, and integrate high quality features into our products. You will be responsible for empowering our internal developers and our creator partners to deliver amazing experiences to our players. You will work with peers across disciplines (Engineering, Design, Production, and Quality) to build robust features on a predictable schedule. Identifying technological opportunities for improvements will be critical in the success of the role. Successful candidates will be able to collaborate with and guide other engineers to deliver features. ResponsibilitiesDesign solutions for systems which result in simple, extensible, and maintainable high-quality code. Effective communicator who can reach outcomes through collaboration across disciplines.
