Electronic Test Technician
Orlando, FL Key Responsibilities: *Perform functional, performance, and environmental tests on electronic components and assemblies. *Assist in developing test procedures, test plans, and documentation for new and existing products. *Operate and maintain lab/test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and multimeters. *Record and analyze test data to identify trends, issues, or performance concerns. *Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to test failures or product defects. *Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical issues. *Maintain detailed and accurate test records, logs, and reports. *Follow safety and ESD protocols in the lab environment. Qualifications: *Familiarity with basic circuit identification and troubleshooting , electrical analysis, ability to us a multimeter *Electrical and electronic principles: Understanding of circuit analysis, electronics, and electrical systems. *Measurement and testing: Familiarity with measurement instruments, testing equipment, and methodologies. *Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and resolve problems with test equipment and systems. *Basic understanding of analog and digital circuit principles. *Familiarity with reading schematics, datasheets, and test documentation. *Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment in a lab or academic setting. *Good troubleshooting and analytical skills. *Clear written and verbal communication skills. *Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting. Preferred Qualifications: *Experience with automated test systems or scripting languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB). *Exposure to PCB-level debugging and soldering/rework techniques. *Knowledge of product compliance testing (EMC, safety, thermal). *Familiarity with manufacturing test processes and test fixtures. *Understanding of industry standards (IPC, ISO, MIL-STD, etc.). |
