Join our Lake Ridge Bank team and play a key role in keeping our Bank strong, trusted, and compliant! In this role, you'll help monitor regulatory changes, review exciting new products, and provide training that empowers our staff.   • Support the VP of Compliance in administering the Bank's Compliance Management System (CMS).
  • Monitor regulatory changes (federal and state) and assist in implementing required updates to policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, and testing across lending, deposits, and operations.
  • Oversee compliance with flood insurance regulations, including monitoring loans for proper coverage, coordinating force-placement processes, and ensuring accurate disclosures.
  • Assist with preparing and presenting compliance reports to management and the Board.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on consumer compliance, fair lending, UDAAP, CRA, flood insurance, and other applicable regulations.
  • Review new products, services, and marketing materials for regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with internal and external audits and regulatory examinations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records.
  • Adhere to all Bank Security/Compliance Regulations
  • Complete all annual bank security and compliance training.
  • Adhere to Bank Security/compliance and policy guidelines for compliance area.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.
  • Stay current on all compliance regulations.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of compliance, risk management or auditing experience specifically in the banking sector with a focus on lending.
  • Working knowledge of key consumer compliance regulations (e.g., Reg Z, Reg B, Reg E, CRA, Fair Lending, UDAAP, Flood Disaster Protection Act, and other consumer protection rules).
  • Partner with business units to provide positive solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of lending regulations and requirements.
  • Well-developed verbal/written communication skills and interpersonal skills to be able to interact and communicate with diverse groups of customers, employees, examiners, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and accurately.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with the proven ability to exercise independent judgment in decision making.
  • Capability to maintain confidentiality of customer information.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point with the ability and willingness to learn new programs and software.
  • Demonstrated ability to represent the organization in a professional, positive manner.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English well.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management, accounting, law or similar field.
  • Previous experience managing compliance projects and implementing regulations.
  • Certification(s) such as CRCM, or progress toward such designation, a plus.
  • Experience with cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Familiarity with financial products and services and bank operations.

This is a full time role between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Please note this role is an onsite role based out of our Waunakee, WI office. Flexibility in scheduling may be needed on occasion.
