The purpose of this position is to oversee the Transportation Services function/program. This includes supervision of Senior Automotive Equipment Operators, Automotive Equipment Operators, and Drivers. The incumbent plans schedules, routes and vehicle for the MED-Transit program. The incumbent supervises shuttle operations, special projects, events, and training and maintenance programs. Develop and implement various transportation programs on campus-wide service level. Provide oral and written information and statistics on programs. #CA-SB

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
- Class B driver's license with passenger endorsement, no air brake restriction, and DMV Medical Certification (must be provided before hire)
- Required to hold a valid California Class B driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program
- Bachelor's Degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
- 2 years of supervisory or management experience in business operations
- Ability to develop concepts and ideas fully. Ability to communicate efficiently in written or verbal form.
- Ability to work with diverse individuals at various administrative levels and units.
- Ability to present new programs in positive light. Time management, fiscal management and development skills.

Work Environment
