OverviewMicrosoft Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) is the team behind Microsoft's expanding Cloud Infrastructure and responsible for powering Microsoft's "Intelligent Cloud" mission. SCHIE delivers the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Teams, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform globally with our server and data center infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability solutions. To achieve this goal, the Artificial Intelligence Silicon Engineering (AISiE) team is instrumental in defining and delivering operational measures of success for hardware manufacturing, improving the planning process, quality, delivery, scale and sustainability related to Microsoft cloud hardware. We are looking for seasoned engineers with a dedicated passion for customer focused solutions, insight and industry knowledge to envision and implement future technical solutions that will manage and optimize the Cloud infrastructure. We are looking for a Principal Design Verification Engineer to join the team.
ResponsibilitiesOwn or lead the verification of complex flows at the SOC, subsystem, or IP levels, ensuring thorough and effective testing.Work closely with cross-functional teams including architecture, design, technology, platform, software, post-SI, and manufacturing to analyze and balance cost, schedule, and capability trade-offs.Collaborate with architecture and design engineers to plan the verification of complex design IP/SoC, identifying key verification test scenarios and coverage goals.Develop and maintain verification environments, running and debugging simulations to ensure high-quality outcomes, using random-stimulus and coverage-based techniques to detect bugs and meet testing objectives.Innovate and apply new verification methodologies or tools to improve efficiency and reduce testing cycle times.Continuously improve your own skills and expertise in verification, sharing knowledge and insights to help teammates elevate their capabilities.Demonstrate Microsoft core values in all aspects of work: focusing on customer needs, adapting to changes, fostering collaboration, embracing a growth mindset, driving for results, using influence to impact outcomes, exercising sound judgment, and promoting diversity and inclusion. |
