SUMMARY:

The Material Planning Senior Manager has the responsibility to manage and control the activities and related results of the overall Material Planning Team.

Responsible for Helicopter planning, materials availability, and Inventory Levels for all the Product Lines of AWPC. Effective planning for components, configuration, and end-of-life that optimize inventory and Production requirements. Day to day management of the Materials Planners Managers and Supervisors to align with Production and Company needs. Work closely with all stakeholder, including Manufacturing Engineering, Program Management, Production, and Quality.

The Material Planning Senior Manager is accountable for guaranteeing the availability of the materials to all the Production Lines, at the right time and in the right quantities, by properly managing the overall Company MRP process, its input and output and its correct balance, being responsible of:

A) Prompt availability in the system of all the material master data necessary for planning;

B) Purchase Requisition, Work Orders, Transfer Orders, release and management processes (including also the repair management);

C) Management of the goods deliveries to internal /external customers;

D) Management of the proposals and requests for operations outsourcing;

E) Management of the excess issues;

F) Availability of all aircraft main segments, including Long Term Planning and related Materials Authorizations;

G) Overall Working Capital inventory of the Production stock.

H) Overall coordination between all Materials Planning Managers for each Product Line.

I) All reporting, including KPIs on Material Availability, to Upper Management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

BS or equivalent work experience in Supply Chain

Experience

8-15 years in Materials Planning

Competencies & Attributes

SAP, MRP, Excel, PPT

Licensure/Certification

APICS CPIM, preferred
