Systems Administrator

We're looking for a system administrator with a background in Windows or Linux administration to help us manage and build out virtualized servers, using Active Directory Domain Services, Domain Name Service (DNS), Group Policy Management, and File Servers, as we help modernize and optimize intelligence capabilities to meet the nation's demands.

As a Systems Administrator on our project, you'll ensure the current infrastructure is secure, functional, and available using event viewer or other Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) to address errors, warnings and peculiar activity. You'll provide customer insight and improve the infrastructure by monitoring system performance, using the latest available technologies, updating and patching critical systems, and providing configuration management.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in Windows Server 2016, 2019, or 2022 Administration in an enterprise IT environment
• Knowledge of Active Direcoty TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy Management
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for administration, automation, and reporting
• Ability to troubleshoot and monitor system performance, availability, and security using native tools, such as Event Viewer, Performance Monitor, and Task Scheduler
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology field
• Information Assurance Technician Level II Certification
• Microsoft or Linux Computing Environment Certification

Nice If You Have:

• Experience managing VMWare or other virtualization platforms
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
• Ability to apply updates, patches, and configuration changes in compliance with IT policies and change management processes
• Ability to maintain and optimize file servers, print services, and related access permissions
• Ability to collaborate with security teams to ensure systems meet compliance and vulnerability remediation requirements
• Ability to document processes, configurations, and scripts to support operational transparency and knowledge sharing
• Master's degree in a related field
• Information Assurance Technician Level III Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;Top Secret clearance is required.
