Corporate Development Analyst

Key Role:

Serve the Corporate Development and Strategy team across the investment lifecycle, from strategy development, sourcing, and market research to inbounds management, business and functional diligence support and financial modeling for mergers and acquisitions (M&A), divestitures, and other investments. Leverage modeling and Excel expertise and strict attention to detail, apply solid comprehension of the federal services market, and show expertise in developing bottoms up waterfall or synergy models, financial forecasting, valuation modeling to support due diligence. Support the execution of the M&A process and interact with senior leaders while leveraging excellent problem solving, analytical expertise, and communication and presentation skills. Perform an integral, visible role within the Corporate Development team, closely working with a small group of peers and senior leaders and interact with the company's leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in consulting, government contracting, Corporate Development, Corporate Strategy, or investment banking
  • Experience supporting complex projects across numerous stakeholders and structuring complex problems
  • Experience delivering insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentations
  • Knowledge of strategy consulting or M&A due diligence
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information, identify issues and risks, and proactively recommend solutions
  • Ability to monitor financial markets and macroeconomic environments, and discuss implications
  • Ability to prioritize work streams appropriately and move quickly among differing tasks
  • Ability to provide research and analysis that is incorporated into complex waterfall or synergy and financial valuation models, and comparable analysis for potential acquisitions to align on transaction value
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or Finance

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with the federal government services market
  • Possession of excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Master's degree in Finance, Business, or Economics

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
