Job Summary

The Cable Harness and Soldering Assembler is responsible for assembling and soldering cable harnesses according to specifications and quality standards. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various hand tools to strip, crimp, and assemble copper and coaxial wires. The assembler must be able to follow detailed work instructions, read and interpret technical drawings, and maintain a high standard of workmanship.

Job Responsibilities




  • Assemble and solder cable harnesses following established procedures and drawings



  • Use hand tools to strip, crimp, and assemble copper and coaxial wires



  • Inspect work to ensure compliance with IPC 610/620 standards and other quality requirements



  • Follow work instructions, blueprints, and process documentation accurately



  • Maintain a clean and organized work area



  • Identify and report any defects, discrepancies, or equipment issues



  • Support continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives




Job Requirements




  • High mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail



  • Prior experience in cable assembly and soldering preferred



  • Familiarity with IPC 610/620 standards a plus



  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and written instructions



  • Proficiency with hand tools used in wire assembly and soldering



  • Strong commitment to quality and safety standards




Work Schedule




  • Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

  • Position based in Oldsmar, FL



  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
