JOB DUTIES: Lead requirements gathering meetings with application teams, Database Administrators, and/or business partners to understand business needs. Responsible for the entire flow of the data into the Data Warehouse. Responsible for developing Informatica packages used in the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes for EDW. Developing and maintaining the Operational data stores (ODS), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and associated data intelligence environments including data lakes, data marts, and metadata repositories. Designing and implementing performance data movement pipelines using multiple ETL tools with batch and real-time event data streams. Gathering business and information requirements from various product owners across various functional units. Ensures database features and capabilities are incorporated into data model designs to optimize performance, resiliency, and scalability. Delivering and presenting proofs of concept to of key technology components to project stakeholders and internal technology leaders. Problem-solving of Data warehouse and ODS application issues and production errors, including high level critical production issues that require immediate attention. Create and optimize data structures for reporting and data integration. Contribute and participate in discussions with implementation of metadata tools for EDW (business glossary, data lineage). Perform design implementation and support of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and data structures within all layers of Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environment. Support offshore resources to drive data projects end to end. Requires a Bachelor's degree in or foreign equivalent, in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or an IT related field. plus 8 years experience in software development as a Senior Software Engineer or in a role/capacity engaged in data warehousing, data integration, and data analytics domain.
Experience must include : 4 years of experience in PL/SQL, Python, PySpark, and Shell scripting, with software development tools (ETL, Real-time and batch data integration, Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, IDQ, and Erwin), in leading technical projects and teams, in designing data warehouses for metrics driven Business Intelligence and reporting. 6 years of experience in software development using waterfall and Agile methodologies and completing software development projects (Enterprise Data Marts, Data Processing pipelines, Real-time data ingestion, and data analytics). 2 years of experience utilizing cloud-based platforms and services with AWS. 5 years of experience using Informatica, data quality, and data lineage. 3 years of experience with data visualization tools (Spotfire or Power BI). 7 years of experience and technical knowledge of Data Warehouse Architecture, ETL, Oracle, and Teradata Server databases.
