Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Architect, design, and develop complex full stack solutions with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability Build and enhance automation frameworks to streamline enterprise workflows and data processes Develop responsive and intuitive front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks Design and implement REST APIs and backend services to support large-scale data integration and analytics environments Collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and lead development best practices Optimize code quality, enforce development standards, and participate in peer reviews and CI/CD processes Proactively identify areas for automation, modernization, and performance improvement within the existing technology landscape Requirements: 7+ years of hands-on software development experience with a focus on enterprise systems Advanced proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development Strong front-end expertise in React.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks Proven experience developing scalable, secure, and reusable component libraries for web applications Solid understanding of SQL and RDBMS concepts (preferably SQL Server or PostgreSQL) Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Ansible Tower) and build automation (Maven, Gradle) Familiarity with Agile delivery methods, unit testing frameworks (JUnit), and version control systems Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills with demonstrated ownership of complex deliverables Desired skills: Experience with microservices architecture and enterprise integration patterns Exposure to cloud-native development or containerized environments Familiarity with data visualization or analytics platforms Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
