Accounting Manager

Staffmark is partnering with a growing manufacturing company to find a detail-oriented, experienced Accounting Manager. This is your chance to oversee all financial operations, drive process improvements, and provide strategic insights that support business growth.

Pay: $75,000-$100,000, based on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday | Day Shift

What You'll Do:

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong vendor/customer relationships
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring financial integrity
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
• Monitor manufacturing costs and provide cost analysis to support operational decisions
• Implement process improvements and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and coordinate audits
• Collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic decisions

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred but not required
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and cost accounting
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Leadership experience to supervise and motivate accounting staff
