POSITION SUMMARY: Leads a small team to plan, coordinate, and execute quality activities related to the production and release for a business unit produced in accordance with government regulations and Nestle standards in a cost-effective manner.The Quality Supervisor is vital in preventing significant negative brand image impact as a potential result of non-confirming goods.Prevention and minimizing rejections, improvement of factory processes, and positive impact on plant costs of Quality and non-Quality. SUPERVISION GIVEN:
Key internal relationships Department heads of the Factory. Functional Quality contacts (market, regional Hubs etc.,) Key external relationships Suppliers Local government agencies Auditing bodies EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree required (preferred microbiology, chemistry, or food science). Operational Experience Exposure to different jobs within the Business unit (production, maintenance) or within Quality (Quality specialist). Minimum of 3-5 years of related Quality experience required in a manufacturing regulatory environment (food or pharma preferred); aseptic exposure a big plus. 1-3 years leadership experience highly preferred; exposure to the audit process.
