What to Expect

As a Lead Carpenter and Concrete Finisher, you will contribute will work on job sites all throughout. This isa80%travel basedposition in which all work will occur on the road. Projects will range between 3 to7 weeksby a cross-functional team of 4 to 20 members handling all trades required to get the work done collectively. The team will be expected to push the limits of construction technology and techniques, and as such will have direct feedback contact with design engineers, project managers, and business developers related to the program.


What You'll Do
  • Train new employees and educate other members of the organization about construction implementation
  • Provide attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship in concrete formwork, site layout, and concrete finish
  • Evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning with an emphasis on identifying hazards
  • Interact with all levels of management and work effectively with other people
  • Use hand and power tools to complete tasks
  • Think outside the box and find innovative solutions
  • Support powerpack and solar panel installations between concrete projects

What You'll Bring
  • Ability to produce parts lists, work plans, and as-built drawings for work performed
  • Ability to complete job scopes outside of normal core competencies as required
  • Proficiency with operating excavators, bobcats, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts
  • OSHA-10 certification and CPR-First Aid training
  • Ability to use trade tools, meters, technology, and equipment to complete the job
  • Ability to lift and pull a minimum of 50 lbs. and work at heights
  • Must have compliant government issued identification for domestic air travel and/or to access certain federal facilities, valid driver's license required, with flexibility to work on weekends and/or overtime

    Expected Compensation
    • Roofer III - $22.64 - $33.97/hour
    • Roofer IV - $28.76 - $43.15/hour
    • Roofer V - $35.71 - $53.57/hour
    + cash and stock awards + benefits for all levels

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
