Summary Job Description: Baptist Health is looking for a Facility HIM Prep Scanner to join their team in Lexington, KY Performs all tasks related to chart document retrieval, prepping and scanning into the electronic medicalrecord. Employee is able to perform all other duties as assigned. Promotes corporate integrity throughcompliance with the BHS Corporate Responsibility Program. This position is onsite at each hospital. Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required High School/GED (Associate or Bachelor's Degree/RHIT/RHI preferred). Formal education in HIM will be considered in lieu of experience. * RHIA certification equates to 4 years of HIM work experience. * RHIT certification equates to 2 years of HIM work experience.
