Generate mechanical engineering data for routine electrical designs and modifications. Develop model-based solutions for tooling and shop support. Evaluate team processes to increase standardization and reduce waste. Unique Skill Ability to utilize CATIA V5 to modify and create engineering data. Ability to utilize AutoCAD to modify and create engineering data. Ability to analyze a business process, work with team's input, and develop an optimized solution. Education Requirement Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in one of the following disciplines: Aerospace Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Electrical Engineering Additional Preferences Engineering Accreditation Commission {EAC) of ABET Accredited Engineering Program Desired Skills and Abilities Interdisciplinary foundation in engineering principles and technical knowledge for understanding complex systems. Electrical Mechanical Aerospace Systems / Industrial Problem Solving Analytical Skills Preferred Skills and Abilities CATIA/3D Modeling AutoCAD drafting List of Classes Taken/Planned Statics Circuits Internship Requirements Must be actively pursuing a degree in Engineering: Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or other Engineering disciplines Be able to do work at least 40 hours during June - August 2026. Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements: Enrolled as a full-time student at time of application, actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or above. Complete their freshman year by the time the internship starts. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume. Minimum 12-14 week requirement (summer); 14-16 week requirement (spring and fall). Must be onsite; this is not a remote position. Must have reliable transportation.
