This role involves managing and motivating a team to maintain high standards of housekeeping and organization. This position reports to the PackingManager. Required Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to accurately read and interpret precision measuring tools such as micrometers, dial calipers, feeler gauges, and protractors Minimum 1 year of experience working in a packing/warehouse/manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and basic computer navigation. Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a small team. Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment. Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs as needed. Familiarity with operating and database systems such as Oracle and SCS. Job Responsibilities: Complete monthly safety training. Complete touch audits on new team members. Complete Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and perform random audits to ensure compliance. Cultivate and drive a good culture of good housekeeping, organization, and cleanliness through leading by example, positive motivation, and efficient time management. Verify product dimensions, finish, and quality in relation to customer specifications, tolerances, and internal expectations. Understand and manage department workflow, including lot tickets, press schedules, tooling, log inventory levels, and material handling processes at the saw and through the age oven. Ensure smooth shift transitions by coordinating team readiness and communication.
