Are you detail-driven, organized, and passionate about compliance? We're looking for a Certified Payroll Consultant to manage prevailing wage reporting and compliance across multi-state projects. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert ensuring accurate payroll reporting, apprentice coordination, and state/federal compliance-all while supporting projects that build our communities.

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Salary: $70,000/yr.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Produce and submit certified payrolls weekly (manual forms, state forms, LCP, DIR, ID, eMars).
  • Maintain and update fringe benefit statements.
  • Oversee compliance for Nevada Public Works Projects (AUA tracking, apprentice requests, documentation).
  • Manage California certified payroll requirements (DAS 140/142 submissions, apprentice coordination).
  • Track and resolve payroll issues related to prevailing wage updates, holidays, per diem, and travel.
  • Set up new jobs in Spectrum, maintain job sheets, and ensure proper payroll setup.
  • Submit subcontractor lists, compliance paperwork, and monthly training fund payments to unions.
  • Partner with project managers, unions, and agencies to keep everything running smoothly.




Qualifications:



  • Strong knowledge of certified payroll processes and state prevailing wage laws (Nevada & California a plus).
  • Experience with payroll systems and compliance reporting tools.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with confidence.
  • Proactive communicator who can coordinate across teams and agencies.
