PSY AY 26/27 Assistant Research Professor of Network Neuroscience Location: University of Notre Dame Open Date: Deadline: Oct 31, 2025 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time Description: * Teaching/Mentorship (10%): Responsibilities include weekly meetings with graduate students in the Decision Neuroscience Lab (DNL; https://www.decisionneurosciencelab.org), as needed meetings with individual undergraduate research assistants for feedback, advanced training and guidance, weekly meetings with undergraduate RAs in the DNL lab meetings, mentoring undergraduates pursuing independent projects and honors theses, serving on masters and doctoral committees, and assisting with developing and organizing course content for courses like Cognitive Neuroscience Methods (grad and undergrad versions). The position will involve mentoring students in fMRI analysis pipelines, network neuroscience methods, and computational/statistical approaches including machine learning and AI. * Administrative (5%): Administrative responsibilities revolve primarily around the DNL, including recruiting, hiring, training and managing staff, managing day-to-day aspects of operating the lab and developing and maintaining community connections/networks in the greater South Bend area. * Service (5%): Service responsibilities as assigned by the Department. Service to the field includes regular ad-hoc reviews, participating as a reviewer and panel chair for various external grant reviews, and related work.
