Position Title:Imaging Access Navigator
Department:Adult Radiology Admin/Support

General Description:
Under limited direction, functions on the multidisciplinary team as an advocate and educator for patient; Schedules patient testing/procedures and ensures testing/procedure is scheduled in appropriate location with appropriate resources; Obtains pre-certification/authorization numbers and enters into the scheduling or registration system; Obtains and enters accurate insurance information. Essential Responsibilities:Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred. Experience: 0-3 years of experience.Prior scheduling experience in radiology or physician office preferred. Prior imaging experience preferred License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: None required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
