Title:Senior Administrative Associate Division: Provost's Office Department: Kinney College of Nursing & Health Professions FLSA Status:Non-Exempt Salary Range:Grade 7: $16.02/hour EEO Job Group:5 E5 Position Summary Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions seeks applications for the role of Senior Administrative Associate. The Senior Administrative Associate will support the day-to-day administrative operations of the Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions. This role involves overseeing a wide range of duties related to faculty and staff support, with a focus on purchasing, onboarding, coordination of activities, and event management. The successful candidate will work closely with the Kinney College administrative team, faculty, and various campus departments to ensure smooth operations and provide excellent service to all stakeholders. Duties/Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot issues and provide guidance regarding policies and procedures of Kinney College and the University to faculty and staff.
- Process and track physical plant requests, collaborating with the Dean's Senior Administrative Associate to ensure timely resolution of facility-related needs.
- Assist in the college's purchasing process, sharing duties with the Dean's Senior Administrative Associate to ensure efficient and accurate procurement.
- Regularly monitor and manage the Health Professions email account, ensuring timely responses and collaboration with the Dean's Senior Administrative Associate on correspondence.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, including administrative tasks and coordination, with shared responsibilities alongside the Dean's Senior Administrative Associate.
- Support the KCNHP as a point person for questions and issues with reporting of time. Serve as a liaison to the USI Payroll department.
- Support and assist with the operations of the KCNHP Sim Center, ensuring optimal use and coordination of resources.
- Update documentation related to KCNHP faculty tutorials, including the faculty Blackboard site, to ensure accessibility of relevant and current information.
- Serve as the primary Kinney College lead for the Slate CRM and Steppingblocks systems, ensuring all related activities and tasks are entered properly, managed and coordinated.
- Manage and facilitate the hiring process for graduate assistants within Kinney College.
- Assist with coordinating and providing support for college tours, open houses, and orientations for prospective students and assist in college advisory committee meetings and communication about events.
- Manage office assignments for faculty and staff, ensuring proper allocation of space and resources.

Required Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor's degree.
- 4+ years of experience with academic office operations and coordination.
- Knowledge of all KCNHP programs and general operating policies.
- Experience with computers, word processing, spreadsheets and email software required.
- Ability to work independently and exercise initiative and independent judgment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills required.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills required.
- Strong customer services skills required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task required.
- Strong problem-solving skills required.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of purchasing systems.
- Experience with Slate and Blackboard systems.
- Previous experience in event planning or coordination.
Regular Work Hours/Travel Requirements
- Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Hours may be adjusted for coverage needs.
- An occasional change in schedule and/or overtime may be required.
