SUMMARY

Nintendo Of America's (NOA) Product Testing team specializes in exploratory black-box testing. We focus on high value, impactful bugs and providing excellent customer service to our developers and testing partners.
Product testers possess the creativity to find bugs using all available resources and feature sets, the clear communication abilities needed to concisely report issues and share insights with the team, the accountability needed to work with minimal direction, and the tenacity to pursue challenging and complex bugs.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
  • Identifies and documents bugs or defects that are inconsistent with requirements.
  • Conducts routine quality control tests to ensure software, platforms, and/or applications meet or exceed standards.
  • Contributes to the development of applications, tools, and workflows to improve departmental efficiency.
  • Drafts reusable test plans and scripts.
  • Performs all job responsibilities with strict adherence to corporate prototype security policies and procedures.
  • Assists others with bug research and/or asks for help from other team members when needed.
  • Re-creates fixed bugs in various or creative ways based on their understanding of how the developer fixed the issue.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
  • Two - three years of professional testing experience.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, problem solving, and cross-group collaboration abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of version control software and best practices.
  • Undergraduate degree in computer programming, software development or equivalent combination of experience and education.

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.
This position includes a base pay range of $33.27 - $53.22 per hour, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
