Detailed Description:

Client Account Development, Growth and Sales

To support our strong vision for growth and success with private sector clients, your role will include the following key responsibilities:



  • Bring existing working relationship with Power sector clients, and understanding of the Power Sector overall and leverage to grow work for BC.
  • Support specific project pursuits or client-positioning efforts with new or existing clients. Use existing relationships to support BC client service teams and strengthen our relationship with clients. On proposals, support development of the technical approach and scope and participation in interviews. Support proposal sales leaders, particularly for work with Power clients.
  • In close association with client service teams (CST's),assumeClient-facingTechnical Leadership roles with strategic clients, including trusted advisorfor clients and CSTs.


Project Delivery and Quality

As part of our commitment to technical excellence and client success, you will be expected to contribute in the following ways:



  • Apply your experience in at least one of these services for Power clients: siting and environmental permitting of generation or transmission infrastructure, operations-phase permitting, water treatment, or remediation.
  • Learn and understand BC's various Market Areas and services we provide. Focus will be Energy, with the expectation to engage in other market sectors where can add value. As a technical lead, responsible for leading, engaging and supporting projects and ensuring that the projects/tasks/deliverables are technically sound and meet project objectives for quality, schedule and budget.
  • On strategic and complex projects, engage directly with delivery team throughout project life cycle, including early concept development, solution selection, execution, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure relevant technical staff engage effectively with project teams to applyconsistenttechnical approaches,risk management,and quality delivery.
  • Assist in the development and preparation of technical documents including work plans and project deliverables


Knowledge and Technical Solutions

You will also play a key role in building client relationships, developing technical solutions, and staying informed about industry trends and competitors through broad knowledge of BC's various technical capabilities as they are relevant to your clients:



  • Directlyengagewith clients to buildrelationships, assessneeds, anddeveloptechnical solutions.
  • Share relevant technical insights from engagement with client peers/network with internal CSTs and directly with clients.
  • Understand our competition in terms of strategic direction of their approach to the specialty area, and their technical focus, staff, strengths, and weaknesses.


Talent Development



  • Support and be a mentor to junior and mid-level senior employees who deliver work to the Power industry.



Salary Range:Theanticipatedstarting payrange for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and maybemore or lessdependingupon skills, experience,and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Location A: $145,000- $199,000
Location B: $160,000 - $219,000
Location C: $174,000- $238,000
