Overview

The Senior Global Implementation and Solution Design Manager is responsible for the oversight of the implementation of global logistics solutions for key customers. This role facilitates the seamless onboarding of new business, process standardization, and operational excellence across regions. This role will collaborate and create a 3-5 year plan with internal stakeholders, including sales, operations, IT, and account management, to design scalable and efficient solutions that meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution: Create and implement detailed plans for project execution, including timelines, milestones, and risk management strategies. Efficiently manage project teams, timelines, and resources to ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations.

Customer Relationship Management: Maintain accurate customer account data and contact information. Focus on retaining and strengthening customer relationships through routine account servicing, including account setup and activation services.
Implementation Leadership: Lead the comprehensive implementation of global customer accounts, ensuring timely, within-scope, and budget-compliant project delivery. Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the implementation phase, cultivating strong connections with key stakeholders.
Team and Cross-Functional Management: Guide and nurture a team of implementation specialists and solution designers. Oversee cross-functional teams (Operations, IT, Finance, and Compliance) to ensure all requirements are fulfilled before go-live.
Continuous Improvement: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of implementations and promote ongoing improvement. Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform the continuous enhancement of customer care services.
Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain thorough documentation for all implementations, including SOPs, process flows, and training materials. Conduct training sessions for internal teams and customers on new processes and technology platforms.

Qualifications

Education
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (Required) or

* Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (Preferred)

Experience
* 7+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management, with a strong focus on solution design and implementation. (Required) and

* 5+ years of experience in people management (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Knowledge of CargoWise, Infor Nexus, SAP, or similar logistics platforms High

* Experience with change management and process improvement initiatives High

* Experience with EDI/API integration, transport management systems (TMS), and visibility platforms High

* Strong project management skills (PMP, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus) High

* Understanding of global trade compliance and customs regulations High

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills High

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with competing priorities High
