Job Title: Junior AI Application Developer (Temporary/Part-Time)

FUNCTION: The Junior AI Application Developer (Temporary/Part-Time) is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing AI-driven solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and related tools. This role focuses on identifying and executing AI use cases that enhance operational efficiency, member experience, and digital innovation. The position requires a proactive contributor who can collaborate with stakeholders, iterate quickly, and deliver intelligent applications aligned with strategic technology goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accountability #1: Application Development for AI Use Cases

  • Design and develop applications using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Automate
  • Implement intelligent workflows and automation solutions
  • Ensure scalability and maintainability of AI-driven application

Accountability #2: AI Solution Testing & Optimization

  • Test and debug AI-enabled applications to ensure accuracy and performance
  • Gather feedback from users to refine AI use cases
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in deployed AI solutions

Accountability #3: Integration with Microsoft Ecosystem

  • Integrate AI applications with Microsoft 365 and other enterprise platforms
  • Leverage APIs and connectors to enhance solution capabilities
  • Document integration processes and technical specifications

Accountability #4: Collaboration and Innovation

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities
  • Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions for new use cases
  • Stay current with emerging AI technologies and best practices

Other Duties:

  • Adhere to all WCU policies and procedures which include security compliance and following guidelines intended to limit risk exposure to fraud and losses.
  • Participates in department and/or organizational projects as directed.
  • Performs other tasks or functions as required, requested, necessary or prudent.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all member and credit union information and data.
  • Regularly demonstrates behaviors as defined by the credit union's Fundamentals, which are part of the Workers Way culture program.

Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Experience developing AI-driven applications using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, or similar tools
  • Hands-on experience with workflow automation and intelligent agents

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of AI concepts and practical implementation
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical AI solutions
  • Proficiency in low-code/no-code platforms and scripting languages
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Work Environment:

  • Remote Work Environment: This role allows for remote work, with occasional on-site meetings at the Littleton Headquarters as required. This work environment is subject to change based on business needs.
