In this role, you will coordinate and delivers/facilitates Craft Field Technical Training and supplements delivery of Field Leadership Training and provides facilitation of Jobsite Safety Training that support strategic goals by enhancing Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA's) of the field PCE, Craft, Construction Operations, and Support personnel.

Job Responsibilities:

    Takes a leadership role in the delivery of craft training in the field (on the jobsite) by demonstrating techniques, mentoring craft professionals, and reinforcing safe work practices in coordination with field supervisory leadership.

  • Manages and executes the delivery of craft training materials, including hands-on exercises, performance verifications, and jobsite demonstrations utilizing NCCER-generated and/or customized training curriculum.

  • Monitors results of craft training participants (metrics and analytics) and collects feedback on training effectiveness, identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Determines and applies the most effective training methods - including hands-on jobsite instruction, demonstrations, and skills assessments - tailored to craft team members in real project environments.

  • Confers with management to deliver critical craft and safety training offerings, aligned with project needs and workforce development goals.

  • Administers testing and evaluation procedures (including NCCER Knowledge and Performance Verifications) to validate craft skills and compliance.

  • Provides facilitation of required jobsite safety training with construction operations and support personnel.

  • Travels to project sites approximately 70% of the time to deliver training where the work is being performed.

Education/Experience:

  • 8+ years of field construction experience is required, with a core craft mechanical background strongly preferred.

  • Prior superintendent or foreman-level experience overseeing and developing site crews is a major plus.

  • Strong background in jobsite safety and workforce development.

  • Experience delivering training or mentoring crews in the field.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications:

  • NCCER Craft or Instructor Certification strongly preferred; significant field training experience may substitute.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Spanish bilingual a strong plus.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build credibility with craft professionals.

  • Highly organized and able to manage training schedules across multiple projects.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% of the time to project locations nationwide.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
