Precise Systems seeks a Tomahawk Weapons System Analyst to support the A50 Division on base at NAWDC Fallon, NV. The candidate will serve as the sole team member working on base at NAWDC Fallon. Collaborate with the team for the development of system requirements, design, software development and testing. Interface with, training, soliciting feedback from members of the strike community, and developing tactics documents.


Duties:



  • Travel to, participate, collaborate, and present/brief at various meetings, such as Operational Advisory Group, working groups, planning meetings, exercises, etc.

    • Create presentations and briefs for presenting at meetings.
    • Capture notes, actions, decisions, and minutes at meetings.
    • Complete assigned actions.


  • Create and provide briefs to various commands and organizations.
  • Provided Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to various commands and organizations, at meetings, and at various exercises and/or test events.
  • Revise Navy Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (NTTP).
  • Develop tactical memos for various use cases and customers.
  • Respond to and provide inputs to Request for Information (RFI) from various commands and organizations.
  • Develop training materials and provide Tomahawk training at various sites/locations and to various customers.
  • Review and provide inputs on various documents, such as NTTPs, tactical memos, tactical bulletins, CONEMPs, training plans and other plans, etc.
  • Provide support for the Training Development Team (TDT)


Desired Education:



  • A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is desired but not required.


Desired Experience:



  • At least ten (10) years professional or operational experience involving a major DOD weapon systems program that employs the use of GOTS and COTS products.
  • Strong experience with TTWCS.
  • Ideal candidates will have served as a member of a strike staff (e.g., Carrier Strike Group, DESRON, etc.)
  • Ideal candidates have experience on a strike team, having deployed on a Tomahawk shooter, and were either senior enlisted or mid-level to senior officer.
  • Must be comfortable briefing at the O-6 level, providing training, conducting reviews of tactics documents, and accepting and responding to constructive feedback
  • Five (5) years of experience, demonstrated for current Navy programs (preferably Tomahawk), which involved the use of logistics products (e.g., software load instructions, T2D2, OP3594, ILSP, TTBs)


Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
