Manager - Logistics

Spirit AeroSystems designs and builds aerostructures for both commercial and defense customers. With headquarters in Wichita, Kansas, Spirit operates sites in the U.S., U.K., France and Malaysia. • Performs responsibilities requiring the integration of disciplines from more than one Materials Management and Transportation job family and applies independent, specialized technical expertise to support a wide range of business objectives.
• Activities include, but are not limited to, the development, integration, implementation, and execution of multidisciplinary business processes.
• Works cross-functionally within internal and external customers and suppliers and all employee levels to carry out responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in management
• Knowledge of managing 3PLs, shipping, warehousing, receiving, and internal logistic functions
• Project Management experience
• Microsoft office
• Experience with SAP
• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience with Aerospace Manufacturing, Logistics & Warehouse Management
• Logistics Management
