Job Scope

The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Sr Manager, FP&A in OPEX and CAPEX budget and planning process, by organizing and harmonizing the financial and non-financial data for different business units.

Key Responsibilities and Duties



  • Assists in the preparation of Budget and Forecasts
  • Providing support, with critical thinking and business acumen, of the monthly and quarterly close process, structuring standard reports (budget to actual information, variance analysis, forecasting, decision making support) and ad hoc analysis for the management team
  • Organizing and harmonizing OPEX financial and non-financial data for supporting the FP&A Manager in the management of segmented P&L
  • Supporting the PMO and projects' teams with budget preparation and actuals' tracking for strategic and R&D projects
  • Assisting in the construction, maintenance, and dissemination of financial performance reporting to key business partners, department heads, and other stakeholders
  • Structures reporting flow with the other Entities within the Group for managing OPEX for the Divisional P&L
  • Performs variance and trend analysis for departmental expenses and strategic projects
  • Ensures the OPEX and CAPEX data accuracy, grating alignment and reconciliation between managerial analysis and accounting books
  • Assists in the preparation of the monthly and quarterly packages and related presentations
  • Assists in the research, analysis, and compilation of data input to create appropriate data set for business plans/cases to address corporate initiatives
  • Works with key stakeholders to track the strategic and R&D projects through budget vs actual spending analysis, forecast and timeline updates
  • Updates the quarterly P&L forecast on a regular basis
  • Capital expenditure and lease ROI analysis



Education, Qualification, and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field of study
  • Masters degree preferred
  • 3+ years Overall combined finance, FP&A, accounting, financial audit experience
  • 3+ years Oracle Financials experience (or experience w/ a similar ERP system)
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Preferred
  • Excellent level of Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage large database ensuring coherence between managerial views and
  • accounting books
  • Ability to quickly build and maintain strong partnerships and relationships with internal stakeholders within accounting, operations, marketing, and other areas of the business
  • Ability to synthesize and present complex data
  • Strong learning agility; strong drive and curiosity for independent learning; approaches work with energy, enthusiasm, and positivity
  • Strong organizational skills - ability to focus on the priorities and assessing the effort needed for completing the activities in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ability to develop and deliver formal presentations to management and larger groups in a professional, concise, and direct manner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic of accounting principles (IFRS and/or US GAAP)
  • Knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion Planning a major plus
  • Previous exposure to headcount and labor expense management a plus
  • Peer Relationship-cooperative, team player, trusted and supported by peers
  • Ability to continue focus in a fast paced environment with several daily interruptions
  • Preferred knowledge and familiarity with: BI platforms (Tableau or similar) and/or an FP&A performance management software for budgeting/planning/reporting (such as Prophix or similar)
