Salary Range: $120,500 - $199,000 Part-time/on-call Air Vehicle Management System (AVMS) Displays Subject Matter Expert will support the acquisition, development, and sustainment of Displays for all F/A-18 and EA-18G configurations. Essential Job Functions: Apply skills in airborne systems analysis, development, and operation to support integration efforts. Support, organize, and participate in events pertaining to the integration effort of the system. Analyze requirements for new software, generate specifications, assist in creating test plans, and coordinate lab, ground, and flight integration efforts. Create plans, develop test points and procedures, support flight integration efforts as well as post-flight analysis and will need to interact with and brief aircrew Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. A bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 12 plus years of experience is required. Must be eligible for security clearance and be able to maintain the clearance for the duration of employment. Experience in flight test to include writing test cards, briefing and debriefing aircrew, and analyzing flight data Experience with testing in an integrated lab environment to include writing procedures, performing testing, and analyzing collected data Subject matter expert on F/A-18C/D/E/F and EA-18G cockpit displays with a minimum of 20 years of experience working on cockpit displays Familiar with Safety of Flight procedures for naval aircraft Knowledge of operational scenarios that drives the operation of the Display Systems Desired Skills: Some experience with QA or Integration Test is desired. |
