This role requires a strategic thinker with experience from IPR monetization and ability to drive licensing initiatives from planning through execution, especially in multimedia. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and experience of licensing processes, sales operations, and litigation. In this role you would manage a team of licensing and technical experts with strong experience from multimedia and carry the overall responsibility of monetizing Nokia multimedia assets through licensing.



  • Licensing Program & Projects Ownership and Planning: Develop and implement licensing strategies, including approach, pricing, terms and conditions, and offerings. Demonstrate strategic thinking and a broad business perspective to design and develop projects, processes, and content relevant especially for our patent licensing business.Influences business strategy to address internal or external business and customer issues. Oversee the management of licensing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technical Sales Support: Own and manage technical sales support to ensure successful licensing deals.
  • Litigation Case Specific Needs: Address specific needs related to litigation cases involving licensing.
  • Acquisition/Transaction Specific Needs: Manage licensing aspects of acquisitions and transactions in close collaboration with Strategy and Product Management and Partnering functions.
  • Sales Operations and Pipeline Management: Oversee sales operations and manage the licensing pipeline to ensure a steady flow of opportunities.


  • Proven experience in licensing, project management, and sales operations.
  • Experience in developing and monetizing patent assets.
  • Knowledge of video codecs and other technology features/drivers in the video services market
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in managing complex projects and driving them to successful completion.
  • Advanced degree in business, law, or a related field.
  • Experience in the technology or software industry.
  • Knowledge of licensing laws and regulations.
