Overview: Operational Oversight & Leadership: Manage 20-30 physician practices, ensuring Office Managers meet expectations and practices operate efficiently, including billing, budgeting, and facility coordination. Physician Engagement & Communication: Maintain regular communication with physicians regarding financial performance, compensation, and contract terms; support new practices and coordinate marketing efforts. Billing & Financial Coordination: Collaborate with Physician Billing and Finance teams to monitor billing metrics, resolve A/R issues, and ensure effective business office processes and training. Strategic Projects & Compliance: Lead enterprise-wide initiatives (e.g., Epic PM, malpractice programs, Lean design), ensure policy compliance, and recommend improvements across practices. Team Development & Transition Management: Supervise staff, conduct performance reviews, provide training, and lead transitions such as acquisitions, relocations, and start-ups in collaboration with Mercy departments.
