We are currently seeking an experienced attorney to join our team and play a vital role in managing and protecting our family members' legacies.

Job Description:

You will be working collaboratively with the bank's general counsel and a senior team of tax, legal, accounting, and financial professionals on trust administration, transactional, compliance, and planning matters. Your primary role will include reviewing and drafting legal documents, drafting communications to fiduciaries and beneficiaries, researching complex tax and legal issues, and helping manage external resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Trust Administration/Compliance:



  • Collaborate with our team of professionals regarding the day-to-day administration of revocable and irrevocable family trusts.
  • Draft legal documents related to trust distributions, trustee succession, and other trust administration matters.
  • Draft communications to trust fiduciaries and beneficiaries.
  • Review and advise team members regarding provisions of family trusts.
  • Stay current on legal developments and regulatory changes impacting trust administration.
  • Research and prepare educational materials for fiduciaries and beneficiaries.


Transactional Matters:



  • Collaborate with our team of professionals regarding transactional matters involving family members, trusts, and legal entities.
  • Draft legal documents related to transactional matters involving family members, trusts, and legal entities.
  • Draft communications to trust fiduciaries and beneficiaries.
  • Coordinate execution of legal documents.


Estate Planning:

Collaborate with our team of professionals regarding development and implementation of estate planning techniques to further each family member's unique needs and objectives.



  • Conduct periodic reviews of estate planning documents and create related communications.
  • Draft wills, trusts, and other legal documents.


Tax Planning:



  • Research and analyze complex tax and trust issues.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to achieve tax planning objectives.


Job Requirements:

Education:

* Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Experience:



  • At least three years of experience working on trust, estate, and tax matters, for high-net-worth clients.
  • Experience working on matters involving closely held corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships.


Licensing:



  • Active membership in good standing with the state bar.


Specialization:



  • Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Tax Law is helpful, but not required.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.

  • Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client service excellence.


*This position is on-site in Oklahoma City.
