Summary:
The Manager supports and collaborates with Facilities Director to manage unit/service activities. Has 24 hour responsibility. Management activities will encompass approximately 25% of the total time; direct service activities will encompass approximately 75% of the total work time. Coordinates a program to maintain and repair buildings, grounds and equipment in accordance with all Life Safety and other appropriate regulatory requirements, and to procure and/or generate all utilities and maintain their distribution systems. Coordinates these activities with other departments to ensure timely, safe, and efficient operation of the Organization.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor Degree preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current Maine Licensure as Class 4 Duty Steam Engineer is preferred. Valid driver's license required.
  3. Experience: 5+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
