Responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and implementing compensation programs, including salary administration, incentive systems, and international compensation. Interpret reliable trends, strategies, and company culture. Collaborate with management and staff to offer professional advice on compensation matters and ensures compliance with wage and hour laws and regulations. Assists in designing, analyzing, and administering compensation programs and structures that deploy people resources optimally. Follows standard practices and procedures works independently with supervision.
Compensation Analyst

Essential Functions

  • Analyze, evaluate, implement and audit compensation programs, including salary administration, incentive systems, and international compensation to ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and regulations
  • Assist in design, analysis, and administering compensation programs, structures and systems to include testing
  • Participate in or lead small projects from inception to completion
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required.

Minimum Experience

Two (2) years experience required in human resources or related area.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Proficiency in various computer applications including electronic spreadsheets required.

Strong analytical, problem solving, statistical, human relations skills.

Verbal and written communication skills necessary to facilitate training or information sessions to groups/individuals and/or explain complex or confidential information with the ability to interact with all levels of management and employees.

Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.

Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations regarding wage and hour.

Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Sr Compensation Analyst

Essential Functions

  • Develop, analyze, evaluate, implement and audit compensation programs, including salary administration, incentive systems, and international compensation to ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and regulations
  • Participate in design, analysis, and administering compensation programs, structures and systems including
  • Interpret reliable trends, make informed decisions, create summaries, recommendations, develop communications and participate in strategy development
  • Collaborate with management and staff to offer professional advice on compensation matters
  • Participate in or lead large projects from inception to completion
  • Subject matter expert May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required;

Minimum Experience

Four (4) years experience required in human resources or related area with at least two (2) of those years working as a compensation analyst or an equivalent analytical role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Proficiency in various computer applications including electronic spreadsheets required.

Excellent analytical, problem solving, statistical, human relations skills to work on issues of diverse scope.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to facilitate training or information sessions to groups/individuals and/or explain complex or confidential information with the ability to interact with all levels of management and employees.
Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines, work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.
Ability to mentor, coach and act as a knowledge resource to other employees.
Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations regarding wage and hour.
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Must be detailed driven with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with the ability to summarize complex data and see the broader picture.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience conducting comprehensive salary surveys using platforms such as AON, Mercer, and Pay Factors. Skilled in leveraging data analysis and visualization tools like Power BI to identify market trends and support business decisions. Familiarity with Workday is a plus.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law.
