Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator (TAC) is responsible for recruiting staff for Goodwill of Western Missouri & Eastern Kansas. This role supports the human capital needs of the organization through full cycle recruiting efforts from application to first day of employment, including the candidate flow from resume reviews, phone screens, or face-to-face interviews and scheduling candidates to meet with hiring managers through candidate selection. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will focus on candidate process improvement and strategy development and foster collaborative teamwork and a strong service-oriented culture.

Essential Functions

1) Responsible for successfully recruiting highest caliber candidates, including attracting highly qualified candidates, and accurately and expeditiously moving them through our talent acquisition process.

2) Performs most of the applicant prescreening, including scanning applications and performing phone screenings in order to produce qualified candidates.

3) Schedule candidate interviews as needed by the management team; coordinate and communicate schedules, times and locations.

4) Responsible for maintaining Applicant Tracking System by entering relevant data, monitoring accuracy of hiring manager data, and accurately and timely moving applicants through pipeline in system.

5) Responsible for achieving weekly hiring goals and reporting on placements metrics including number of leads, number of placements, time to fill.

6) Responsible for building applicant sources and actively building candidate pipeline by:

o Engaging community partners, building relationships and participating in events that lead to candidate referrals, including high schools, colleges, service providers, local governments, etc.

o Developing and cultivating networking and sourcing opportunities with professional organizations. o Using social media, media, our website, internet posting opportunities, community sources, career fairs, etc.

o Being present for hiring events, regardless of the recruiter territory. Hiring events require a TEAM effort.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment and virtually. The role routinely uses standard office equipment. This position will regularly travel and engage the community.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Travel

* This is a full-time position with a hybrid work model.

* Office hours are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., however some flexibility of the schedule is permissible with supervisor approval.

* The location schedule will be as agreed upon with manager; generally requires onsite work 2 days per week with the flexibility of working the remaining 3 days per week from a virtual capacity.

* Day-time travel to locations supported is required including community engagement, career fairs and hiring events.

* Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support the role and events.

Qualifications

The role will be an outgoing leader with the following:

* High School Diploma required. Additional advanced coursework or college degree in Business, Human Resources, or related subject preferred.

* 3 to 4 years of related work experience or high-volume recruiting required.

* Applicant tracking experience required.

* Outstanding customer service skills; comfortable with engaging strangers in person and on the phone.

* Must maintain a professional appearance and environment both in office as well as virtual. During virtual meetings, your camera should be on with minimal background noise and distractions.

* Strong administrative skills, computer skills, record keeping and attention to detail.

* Strong time management, organization and multi-tasking abilities.

* Ability to maintain confidential information is a MUST

* Critical thinking and problem solving; good judgment related to matching a candidate to the right job match.
