Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and mission-focused Cyberspace Readiness and Joint Training Specialist to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Cyber Resilience Support Services under the JETS contract. This role is responsible for supporting all phases of the Joint Training System, evaluating cyberspace readiness, and enabling integrated cyber mission planning and execution. The specialist will work closely with leadership and stakeholders to assess readiness indicators, propose risk mitigation strategies, and support joint training activities.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist in the planning, development, execution, and evaluation of joint cyberspace training events.
- Analyze mission requirements and develop training objectives and plans aligned with operational goals.
- Evaluate readiness reports and compile data into actionable readiness indicators.
- Propose cyberspace courses of action to mitigate risk and enhance mission preparedness.
- Support leadership and staff in updating assessment criteria and readiness frameworks.
- Prepare for and participate in joint training meetings, including after-action reviews and reporting.
- Document lessons learned and track integrated actions to closure, escalating issues as needed.
- Provide support using Government-provided automated software tools in accordance with assigned suspense dates and staffing processes.
- Enable understanding of integrated cyber and critical mission requirements during constrained operations.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of the Joint Training System and cyberspace readiness frameworks.
- Ability to analyze complex mission requirements and translate them into effective training plans.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity policies, risk management, and governance processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level III
- Five (5) years relevant experience in IT/CS.
- Must have an active DOD Top Secret Clearance and be eligible for IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
