As the Doctrinal Training Lead, you will oversee a team of balanced Warfighting Function experts charged with delivering comprehensive doctrinal training to Army units ahead of exercises, training center rotations, and deployments. You will leverage your deep technical and operational knowledge to design and deliver modular, mission-focused training blocks-combining hands-on field exercises with virtual simulations and robust after-action reviews-to ensure doctrinal proficiency under stress. In this role, you will collaborate with subject-matter experts to analyze unit capability gaps, tailor instruction materials, and integrate the latest publications. Equipped with cutting-edge systems, digital tools such as SharePoint, Teams, VBS3, or AR overlays, and automated administrative processes, you'll measure success through clear proficiency metrics and qualitative feedback, continuously refining TTPs to keep every unit combat ready.

As a Doctrine Training Team (DTT) lead on our team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing academic programs that align with the mission objectives outlined by the Army client, ensuring that all personnel are adequately prepared for upcoming training. This includes coordinating with our team and the client to develop academic material, schedule training sessions, managing training resources, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs.

You Have:

  • 12+ years of experience with the military or DoD
  • 6+ years of experience on staff within the specific warfighting function, or with specialized MCTSP
  • 4+ years of experience in exercise planning using the JELC process
  • 2+ years of experience working with warfighting function area Army MCiS
  • Experience working in a training support system, such as the Army National Guard training support system
  • Experience as a staff primary at the brigade or division levels
  • Experience in senior army leadership and training management
  • Experience in combat arms, combat support, or as a combat service support officer, and with primary staff in the specific primary war fighting function at the battalion or higherlevel
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
