Senior Manager, Digital Visual Merchandising

PURPOSE

As part of the Digital Visual Merchandising team, you will lead the Campaign Merchandising pillar, shaping and executing the strategy for how we bring our key Campaigns, Consumer Moments, and Promotions to life on adidas.com and app. Additionally, you will drive the evolution of merchandising tools and processes, enhancing efficiencies and ensuring we are continually evolving to meet consumer expectations and align with the broader business goals

The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of how digital merchandising influences consumer behavior and drives engagement, conversion, and sell-through. You will translate global guidance into local execution across key consumer journey's, helping to elevate the end-to-end experience

Our goal is to showcase our products in the most compelling way, enabling consumers to effortlessly find the perfect item that not only meets but exceeds their needs

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering growth, accountability, and excellence
  • Own the strategic planning and execution of digital visual merchandising initiatives across adidas.com and the app for the NAM market (US + CAN)
  • Translate global strategy into locally relevant experiences, ensuring alignment with consumer needs, business goals, and local market nuances
  • Be obsessed with how our product is presented to the consumer, keeping a pulse on industry trends & mining them for opportunity
  • Establish and iterate team playbooks to streamline merchandising processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Digital Content, Consumer Experience, CRM, Buying, and SEO teams to create cohesive experiences that accelerate product sell-through
  • Leverage analytics and consumer insights to drive data-informed decisions, optimize merchandising performance, and identify new opportunities
  • Champion innovation and testing, providing feedback to global teams on platform enhancements and supporting the development of new capabilities that elevate the consumer experience
  • Continuously evolve merchandising tools and processes to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and adaptability across campaigns and seasonal activations
  • Own the monthly merchandising calendar, ensuring alignment with business priorities and communicating regular performance updates to leadership

  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of successfully managing teams, driving results, and fostering cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong strategic problem-solving and business acumen, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify opportunities and craft compelling narratives
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, balancing day-to-day demands with long-term strategic objectives through strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across diverse teams
  • High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership, ensuring all consumer-facing initiatives are accurate, on-brand, and executed to the highest standard
  • Understanding of product and trends
  • Broad and deep site merchandising expertise
  • Understanding of AB testing and personalization
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across functions and levels of the organization
  • Ability to demonstrate resilience in managing high-pressure, complex situations that drives productive outcomes
  • Proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics
  • Fluent in English



EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS



  • 8+ years of relevant experience in eCommerce is preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years people management experience
  • BA / BS in Merchandising, Accounting, Finance, Business, Digital or related field (Master's / Graduate qualification a plus)
