Job Purpose: Performs various tasks on the shop floor related to the finishing and assembly of industrial bearings including deburring, blasting, tumble, etching and part marking, parts cleaning, lapping, and basic machine functions. This position provides service and support to the warehouse by handling shipping and receiving tasks. As the Industrial Manufacturing Technician, the team member will:
Abilities and Other Skills: Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before employees of organization. Mathematical: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Lifting: This position requires lifting up to 25 pounds over 2/3 of the time, and lifting up to 40 pounds 1/3 of the time.
