Overview We are seeking a Centralized Scheduler, also referred to as a Hospital Admitting Clerk or Admitting Scheduler, in our Admitting/Registration Department. As a Centralized Scheduler, you routinely schedule tests/procedures for all patients where services occur as a scheduled event. This may include coordinating patient appointments, admissions, and registration processes to ensure efficient and accurate access to care. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
#LI-MK3 Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. High School Graduate or GED Equivalent Required (effective 4/1/14 for all new hires) 2. Knowledge of multiple insurance authorization requirements 3. 1-2 year previous experience in a hospital environment preferred 4. Knowledge of medical terminology 5. Effective written and verbal communication skills 6. Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines 7. Analytical and problem-solving skills 8.
