For more information, visit our website at www.kearfott.com Position Description: The materials planner is responsible for developing and managing detailed production schedules from raw material through assembly, test and shipping to meet customer and internal demands. The planner will also be responsible for material supply from stockroom to the production lines, and coordinating with various departments (production and procurement) to ensure timely and efficient production along with optimizing inventory levels. They also analyze production data, forecast demand, and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency. Essential Functions: * Ability to develop and maintain detailed production schedules, considering customer demand, material availability, and resource constraints. * Develop and review the production plan in coordination with managers for approval. * Continuously monitor production plan execution, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to ensure on-time delivery. * Escalate critical production constraints or disruptions that may impact customer delivery commitments to the Production Manager for resolution. * Conduct demand analysis by reviewing open, current, and forecasted work orders to prioritize and schedule production runs effectively. * Responsible for pulling material to issue to production. * Plan and coordinate inventory control strategies to maintain optimal stock levels, preventing shortages and overstock situations. * Generate and maintain planning reports, KPIs, and production sequencing data to support real-time decision-making and continuous improvement. General requirements and experience: * Bachelor's degree in supply chain engineering or related field preferred * 5+ years' experience as materials planner/stockroom in a manufacturing environment preferred * Intermediate to advance knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft office suite, and data analysis tools * Analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * Must be bi-lingual English/Spanish * Must be US Citizen This position is 100% onsite and relocation assistance is not provided for this position.
