Join the Talent Acquisition (Recruiting) Team at Covenant Living Communities & Services as a TA Specialist (Contract)! Covenant Living is one of the largest not-for-profit retirement living organizations in the nation, with 20 communities in 11 states.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a foundational role within the Talent Acquisition team, responsible for supporting the recruitment process by sourcing and screening candidates, providing administrative support, and assisting TA with projects as needed. The TA Specialist role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about recruitment and eager to develop their skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Please note this is a long-term Contractor position.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Candidate Sourcing, Screening and Engagement

  • Support sourcing efforts by identifying candidates through job boards, social media platforms, and other recruiting tools.
  • Engage candidates through proactive outreach, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Collaborate with team members to execute recruitment and sourcing campaigns that align with hiring goals.
  • Screen candidates for open requisitions as assigned by recruiters.
  • Participate in hiring events as needed.

Candidate Experience

  • Ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience by maintaining clear, timely, and professional communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist in coordinating interviews and managing logistics for candidates and hiring managers, ensuring all touchpoints reflect professionalism and organization.
  • Act as a resource for candidates, answering questions and addressing concerns to support their recruitment journey.

Administrative Support

  • Provide back-up and overflow support of background check processing to TA Ops Specialist role.
  • Manage general TA inbox and serve as primary point of contact for recruiting-related calls received from Central Office.
  • Coordinate job fair attendance and community/hiring events in partnership with recruiters.
  • Complete Workday audits as needed in partnership with HRIS.

Project Support and Implementation

  • Assist with the implementation of new talent acquisition projects, tools, and processes to improve team efficiency.
  • Provide administrative support for key recruitment initiatives, including reporting, event planning, and system updates.
  • Collaborate with senior recruiters on special projects to enhance recruitment operations and strategies.

Team Collaboration and Learning

  • Shadow and learn from experienced team members to build knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and sourcing best practices.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback in team meetings to continuously improve processes and the candidate experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training to develop proficiency with recruitment tools and social media platforms.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of recruiting work experience preferred.
  • Experience in ATS and HCM systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on professionalism and clarity.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and enthusiasm for leveraging them in sourcing and recruitment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a strong sense of urgency in all tasks.

Compensation Pay Range:

$24.47 - $32.95 per hour

Reasonable Pay Estimate

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $24.47 - $32.95 per hour. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
